What does this social media calendar do?
It creates a chronological publishing plan from your start date, selected platforms, total weekly frequency, primary goal, and content pillars. The tool rotates those inputs through transparent templates so the plan is repeatable and easy to edit.
How to create your content plan
- Choose the date when your publishing plan should begin.
- Select a 7-day weekly plan or a 30-day monthly plan.
- Choose the total number of posts to publish each week.
- Select every social platform you want included.
- Choose the main goal guiding this particular plan.
- Add up to six content pillars, with one pillar on each line.
- Generate the calendar, then print it or download a CSV copy.
How are posting dates selected?
Posts are spread as evenly as practical across the selected 7-day or 30-day window. Frequency is the total number of weekly posts across all platforms, not a separate quota for every platform. This prevents an unexpectedly large calendar when several networks are selected.
Platforms and content pillars rotate in the order selected. The generator does not use random numbers, so identical inputs produce an identical plan.
What are content pillars?
Content pillars are the recurring subjects your brand can discuss with useful depth. Examples include customer questions, product education, behind-the-scenes work, case-study lessons, or industry guidance. Clear pillars help a calendar stay focused without making every post identical.
CSV, printing, and browser drafts
CSV download creates a spreadsheet-friendly copy containing the date, platform, pillar, suggested format, post idea, and call to action. The print option isolates the generated plan for a cleaner paper or PDF view.
Draft saving is optional and manual. A saved draft remains in local browser storage on the current device and is not synced to a Yellow Tools account or social platform.
Important limitations
- The calendar uses local templates and is not AI-generated.
- It does not inspect live trends, competitor activity, or platform analytics.
- It cannot predict reach, engagement, leads, followers, or sales.
- It does not publish, schedule, or connect to social media accounts.
- Every idea needs review for brand voice, accuracy, and platform fit.
Frequently asked questions
Does the tool schedule posts automatically?
No. It produces a planning document. You remain responsible for creating, reviewing, scheduling, and publishing the final content.
Why is the monthly plan 30 days?
The tool uses a transparent 30-day planning window beginning on your selected date. This keeps the generated schedule consistent regardless of the calendar month in which you begin.
Is my plan uploaded anywhere?
No. Generation and CSV creation happen inside the browser. A draft is only stored when you explicitly choose Save draft.
Need a complete social content strategy?
A calendar organizes activity, but strategy also needs clear positioning, useful creative direction, realistic production capacity, and measurement. Yellow Solutions can help connect those parts into a practical system.
